Research

My main passion lies in the probabilistic coordination and communication to advance intelligence and autonomy in distributed systems. I am fascinated by mobility and safety in multi-agent systems, and love tackling the gap between theory and practice.

Areas of Interest:

  • Distributed Systems — Protocol design for autonomous coordination
  • Uncertainty in Autonomous Systems — Multi-agent motion planning, uncertainty modeling
  • Mobile and Embedded Systems — Real-time sensing and actuation in constrained environments
  • Wireless Communication — UWB-based ranging, BLE networking, Opportunistic Networking
  • AI & ML on the Edge — Neural networks for embedded real-time inference

Methods:

  • Mathematical Analysis — Deriving insights and guiding questions through formal reasoning.
  • Monte-Carlo & System-Level Simulation — Exploring system behavior under uncertainty using probabilistic and large-scale simulations.
  • Real-world validation — Testing concepts on physical devices to validate theoretical results and practical relevance.
